Chess on a sunlit seabed. Five opponents, no clock, no rating.
Chess, made beautiful and genuinely beginner-friendly. Tap a piece and every legal move lights up, so you never need to remember how anything moves. Pieces settle into the sand with a soft weight, and a captured piece simply drifts away as bubbles. There is no clock, no rating, and nothing to lose but the game in front of you. Five opponents, five depths. Progress is a dive down the reef, and each opponent is a genuinely different player rather than a deeper calculation: 1. Guppy in the Shallows plays gently and will not punish a mistake — it even nudges you once if you leave a piece undefended. 2. Snapper at the Reef takes any piece you leave hanging. 3. Octopus in the Kelp hunts forks and traps. 4. Ray at the Drop-off plays for position and structure, not just material. 5. Leviathan in the Trench plays at full strength, with no hints and no mercy. Beat one and you earn a carved keepsake for your shelf and unlock the next depth. A win also scores a Dive Score — deeper water, a swifter finish and no hints all add to it — so a depth you have already beaten is still worth returning to. Everything saves automatically, and an unfinished game waits exactly where you left it. Prefer company? Two players shares one screen. Optional coaching (legal-move dots, a warning for pieces that can be taken, and a hint) is there when you want it and off when you don't.
