Who we are

YOXI (yoxi.gg) is an online play-and-grow arcade operated by the YOXI Team. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@yoxi.gg.

What we collect

• Guests (no account): Nothing leaves your device. Favorites, recently-played, and high scores are saved only in your browser's local storage. We can't see them.
• Accounts: Your email address, a display name you choose, and your game data — best scores/records, favorites, chosen theme, and language. We also note when you last logged in (and a simple login count) to understand returning players. If you connect friends, we store the mutual friend links you create.
• Age range: When you create an account we ask your birth date only in your browser to check you are 13 or older. We store only a coarse bracket (under 13 / 13–15 / 16+) — never your birth date or year. Under-13 visitors can still play as guests but cannot create an account.
• Technical basics: Like most sites, our server may process standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and keep the site secure. We use a small number of first-party cookies for your login session and to remember your language — not for advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use it

We use your data only to run the service: to sign you in, sync your records and preferences across your devices, keep scores personal to you, enable friends features you opt into, and keep the site working and secure. That's it — no profiling, no ad targeting.

Children

YOXI is a general-audience site. Anyone can play as a guest, but accounts are for ages 13 and up only, so we do not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe an under-13 account was created, contact us and we will remove it. Ads are never shown to guests, and never to anyone who is not signed in — so a visitor whose age we have not been told does not see them. For signed-in accounts (13+) we request non-personalized ads — they are not based on a profile of you — and we block ad categories that are not suitable for a general-audience, family-friendly site.

Service providers we share data with

We don't sell your data. We use a few trusted providers strictly to operate YOXI, and only the data they need for their function:

• Supabase: our database and authentication — stores accounts, records, favorites, and preferences.
• Google: two separate things. (1) Sign-in: if you choose “Continue with Google,” Google verifies your identity and shares your email/name. (2) Advertising: where ads are shown (see “Advertising, tracking, and your data” above), Google serves them and may receive your IP address, device/browser information, and ad-interaction data, and may set cookies or similar identifiers.
• Discord: if you choose “Continue with Discord,” Discord verifies your identity and shares your email/name for sign-in.
• Resend: sends account emails such as verification and password-reset messages.

Advertising, tracking, and your data

We never sell or rent your data, and we do not build cross-site behavioral profiles of you. Your personal records stay private to you — no public leaderboards or public profiles by default. Advertising: YOXI is free to play, and ads help keep it that way. Two rules govern them. First, ads are shown to signed-in accounts only — if you play as a guest you will never see one. Second, an ad must never interrupt a game you are playing: never inside the game window, never underneath it, never mid-play. Ads may appear only in between activities — before you start a new game after a long session, while you wait to be matched with other players, or when you deliberately choose to watch one to earn a Spark. Ads are served by Google, which may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device for frequency capping and fraud prevention.

Your rights

You can view and update your display name, theme, and language in the app, and change your favorites and records by using the site. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email hello@yoxi.gg.

Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your account and its associated data at any time by emailing hello@yoxi.gg. Once deleted, your records, favorites, and profile are removed. Guest data isn't tied to us — clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
